Tim and Janice got custody of Mary in May of

1999 through the courts. Mary requested

she wanted to live with us. She continued

to go to Clarke Co. High School through

her senior year even though we live in

Warren County. She brought all her grades

up and almost made straight A's. She now

attends Radford University - she started

in the Fall of 2000. She loves Radford

and is really happy.

We built a tree house for Mary when she

came to live with us. It has a sleeping loft,

heat, electric, furniture,  a country porch

and decks, and a bridge to the house deck.

  She slept over there a lot when she was living

at home - now she's at college.

  We have two new kittens - Juice and Boo -

sisters and one older kitty named The Boy.

  They rule this house. Tim and I are working

on building houses with Steps to Heaven

Construction Inc.. The custom house building

business is hard work and time consuming but

the houses we build are so different.

Maybe we can get some of the house pictures

on the site for everyone to see. Janice left

her landscaping business and started a business

called Haywire Inc. with a partner,

it specializes in scarecrows, 3-D cards, art,

and handmade 3-D tiles. The business operates

on line www.haywireinc.net if you want to check

it out.

    Tim just underwent surgical biopsies to

determine if some lesions in his mouth

are cancerous. We go back in November to see

what the results were. Please pray for Tim -

he needs your prayers. Thank you.

I think of Betty Kay and the family up there.

  The family has gone through so much lately.

  I pray for them.

    This site is such a great idea.

  Our thanks to Cathy for her hard work and

creativity.

  Since we just did a web site for the

Haywire business, we know how complicated

it is.  Thank you Cathy.
